We are Unconformity Records, a non-profit organization and record label based on Colorado's western slope, dedicated to better understanding our natural world and how humans affect it through research, observation, and experimentation. We are explorers in every sense, both through the work we do in science and history as well as exploring new ideas in art and music.

Unconformity Records is the unofficial record label for musicians and visual artists Biolith and Necrolith, two alter-egos that take on a sound heavily inspired by our changing world. They represent the two futures of humanity: prosperity and extinction, exploring new sonic terrain with the art they create.
Unconformity Records' namesake comes from a geologic term referring to a gap in geologic time, representing a period of time that we can't trace. The act of questioning the world around us is part of what makes us human. Through our research in science and history, we make it our mission to find answers for the mysteries of our world.
